Particularities - part 2: | At the Sunday before the tournament, a Dutch chess player guided the Polish chess players with a bicycle tour through the
Jordaan Area. During the trip,
pictures where made before the Anne Frank House and the
Rijksmuseum.They also visited the spectators
area of the Dutch Chess Championship, which was held in the Manor Hotel.
It was a coincidence that the Dutch Chess Championship 2015 and the 26th NATO Chess Tournament were held in the city at the same time!
At the Friday after the 7th Round, the same Dutch player guided an American chess player with another bicycle tour. This time, the flea market at Waterloo square and the old harbour areas of Amsterdam North and Amsterdam East were visited. |
