A Backpack and Greek food as gift:	Each participant got a backpack and some Greek food.
Particularities:	1) The tournament will be played in the same location as the annual Rhodes Chess open 2) The tournament was held at the same time and same place of the Martial Arts World Championship 2024 . 3) During the entire week the weather was sunny (26C, 79F). There was hardly any wind. Not a single drop of rain has fallen, while most of the participants of the northern countries were struggling with cold, rainy days and leaves falling at the ground. 4) It was the first NCC tournament where, in accordance with current FIDE regulations, the participants were thoroughly checked whether they have not brought electronic devices and smart watches after entering the playing hall. 5) From the 60 games of each round, 48 were played with DGT boards with a delayed transmission of 15 minutes. 6) At the NCC tournament, there were additional prices of the categories "Women", "Veterans" and the most spectacular game. 7) The Germany Chess team was sponsored by Chessbase. All their opponents got a product from that company. Thank you, Chessbase!
Cultural programs:	At 23th October afternoon, a guided tour was planned in the Archaelogical Museum of Rhodes. Because some Dutch participants had already visited the Medieval City of Rhodes and one had even visited the Archaelogical Museum at the Sunday before the tournament, the group created an own cultural program by hiring a car, visiting Lindos and climbing the Acropolis above the village.
